Didier Cretin, a long-time member of the Greubel Forsey team, was the imagineer behind the Signature 1. Working closely with Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey on the design, this watch is a more pared down version of more complex Greubel watches, as it is a ‘time-only’ watch with no other complications. Despite being a simple design, the piece was in development for six years before its launch. The watch was introduced in four limited editions: 11 in platinum, 11 in white gold, 11 in rose gold, and 33 in stainless steel.
