Description
It’s a striking blend of mechanical ingenuity, bold aesthetics, and lightweight materials—built to keep pace with the fastest lifestyles on and off the track.
At its core is the CRMC1 calibre, Richard Mille’s first in-house flyback chronograph movement. Ultra-slim and entirely developed by the brand, it separates the chronograph mechanism from the timekeeping components—ensuring precise, uninterrupted performance. The movement features a column wheel and double oscillating pinion system, enabling smooth start/stop/reset functions while offering a robust 50-hour power reserve, regardless of chronograph use.
The case, sculpted in Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT®, showcases Monaco’s iconic red and white hues—an homage to Charles Leclerc’s roots. These advanced composite materials are known for their durability, extreme lightness, and uniquely striated surface patterns, achieved through an intricate layering and heating process. Complemented by a comfortable, stretchable rubber strap, the watch hugs the wrist like a second skin—ready for acceleration at a moment’s notice.
With its modern tonneau shape, skeletonised dial, and finely tuned mechanical heart, the RM 72-01 Charles Leclerc Monaco Edition is more than a timepiece—it’s a precision-built tribute to racing spirit, national pride, and technical mastery.
