Greubel Forsey Tourbillon Cardan Watch

Greubel Forsey’s 8th Fundamental Invention creates a new type of tourbillon with a flying appearance. While most tourbillons have a revolution of 60 seconds, the Tourbillon Cardan is almost four times faster as it makes one rotation in just 16 seconds. The 30° high-speed tourbillon is guided by two mobile rings linked by two 90° axes that tilt forward and backwards. The tilt of the rings is controlled while the degree of inclination of the tourbillon is inclined and never varies, offering a better ratio of angular velocity to chronometric performance. This is the fastest yet for a Greubel Forsey tourbillon, moving through more positions in less time, therefore offering a much higher average performance along with an 80 hour power reserve. Limited to 55 pieces over a span of 5 years.
